THE ONLINE SEMINAR PART 1: « THE ART OF BLACK AND GREY »:

In seminar 1 I am explaining my tattoo process from A to Z: from reference to the finished piece. I get into details about black and grey techniques, machines, needles, ink palette set ups, contrast, healing process, retouches. We overview how to develop yourself as artist from business perspective. We discuss the best photo set up for a tattoo.

THE ONLINE SEMINAR PART 3 (170+ pages of information): « ACADEMIC APPROACH TO TATTOOING »: 

  • Application of the academic approach to realistic tattoo portraiture. We focus on how to recreate the human portrait in tattooing and the particularities and anatomy of each portrait element: hands, eyes, lips, nose, ears and also skull. We learn to better understand the values instead of simply copying the image. The art of Realism is the art of Values.
  • Practical exercises to perfect techniques on skin.
  • The guide to different skin types: how to tackle difficult skin types with less stress.
  • Analysis of my past mistakes, how I have corrected them in time and how you can avoid them.

THE ONLINE SEMINAR PART 4 : « TECHNIQUE. ARTISTRY. DISCIPLINE. »

In this seminar we are going deeper into the knowledge behind being a tattoo artist from application techniques to knowledge about our canvas.

FORMAT: The seminars consist of a series of texts and videos. The videos are pre-recorded which means you will be able to watch and rewatch them at any time during the seminar period. Tattoo session is filmed at several angles to show working process at fullest. At the end of the seminar you will be able to send in the questions for Thomas that you might have after completing the course.
