Each tattoo must create emotion.
A flower, an animal, or an object — when represented on skin — must be connected to its collector. A tattoo evokes different feelings. For some, it represents power and confidence. For others, it is a way of expressing an inner self they often hide from the world.
In every case, it is my responsibility to understand the emotion the client wishes to embody, and to allow that intention to guide the creative process.
It begins with research — studying references based on the chosen theme — and continues through every stage of the experience, culminating in the tattooing itself.
In tattooing, and especially in realism, everything matters: preparation, execution, connection, and the way the piece flows with the body. This is what makes tattooing profoundly different from drawing or painting on paper.
It is not just an image.
It is a connection.
It is emotion.
It is an important moment in someone’s life.
This piece was created over two long days of work moments where time seemed to stand still while we focused entirely on the act of creation.
